Description
SiteMinder’s growth and success were partly due to its partnerships, integration technology, and processes. Due to the company’s global expansion, there was a growing demand to integrate and provide additional services and products to SiteMinder’s clients.
As the project principal designer, I’ve provided solutions for both the public-facing website and a product section on SiteMinder’s upcoming platform.
Key Steps
- User research and journey mapping
- Market and competition research
- On-boarding processes and scale
- Business opportunities and growth
- Platform information architecture and integrations
- Wireframes and prototypes
- UI system design for commercial websites and platforms
- Graphic design and content production processes
Process
Working alongside the project and product managers to write the product definition and scope. Facilitating design workshops to work out approaches, risks, technical constraints, budgets, timelines and other factors influencing the first batch of sketches and ideas.
Create user journey maps, including interaction points with the business, identifying customer pain points and potential risks (such as cyber), team structure, processes, tools, and customer retention.
Create ecosystem maps to give a bird’s-eye view of the various teams, tools, and processes required to sustain and scale the Marketplace.
Wireframes and prototypes of both the public-facing and platform interfaces, including versioning and future growth opportunities.
Hi-fidelity responsive designs, including content production documentation and processes for onboarding, review, publishing, and maintenance of customers and product offerings.
